With all the Motorola and Nokia launch nonsense happening, here’s something you may have missed out on. This video of the iPhone 5, new iPhone (whatever) booting up inspired much skepticism, if YouTube is a barometer for taste.
It is thinner, and it is taller, and it is booting up into iOS, albiet with a registration error. It’s a lengthy boot though, just a hair under the iPhone 4S.
And where did this sucker come from? The new iPhone is being assembled in Jincheng, China where the device was likely snuck out inside a fake leg or dummy arm (but not really). We wish that this was a fake. The new iPhone just seems so, ordinary.
