Apple push iTunes 11 release to late November

All Things Digital reports the latest version of iTunes, which was initially intended for a late October release, has now been pushed back a full month.
Apple spokesman Tom Neumayr has stated that “the new iTunes is taking longer than expected and we wanted to take a little extra time to get it right”. The new version of iTunes is set to integrate a “simpler and cleaner interface” as well as iCloud functionality.
We trust that Apple will iron out any kinks and ensure that iTunes 11 will be a little more user friendly for those of the non-Mac persuasion. The need to refine certain elements probably results from frustration users experienced with the inept navigation app released alongside iOS6.
Apart from having to wait a few more weeks, we hope that this delay will result in the full iTunes store being rolled out to our neck of the woods.
