iPhone 5S now in production at Foxconn [rumour]
The rumours have been incessant the past 24-hours about the reported new iPhone 5S. According to a Japanese Apple blog the production of the new iPhone has already been set in motion.
Foxconn has begun “partial production” as a reliable source has informed Macotakara, other sites like MacRumours and Apple insider also cited from the report.
Further speculations by Macotakara is that the 5S will be manufactured on the same production line as the iPhone 5, it is also said that telecommunications giant NTT Docomo that does not cart the iPhone is pulling back orders for Android devices, to make way and introduce the iPhone 5 .
The purported dates of release of the phone have said to be either July or August, but no one has clear information pertaining to when it will be available; however it would make sense for limited production to begin in March.
The rumours related to the specs and features of the phone still remain the same, with the introduction of the new A7 Apple chip, better LED based camera technology called ‘Smart Flash’, a fingerprint chip on the home button and new speculation includes that the 5S will support China’s time-division duplexing (TDD) standard. That’s all we have for you now folks, but stay tuned as we will try and keep all you Apple enthusiasts in the loop.
