7 hot trailers from the 2013 VGX Awards
Spike TV’s 2013 VGX video game awards, a ceremony that’s painful for any normal gaming fan to watch, was recently broadcasted online with a slight issue: that we had to watch an awful show to get to the best part, namely the exclusive trailers of next years best-looking games.
But here’s an early Christmas gift. We’ve handpicked the best trailers from the VGX awards so that you don’t have to waste an hour and a half of your life. Seriously people, if last years awards were anything to go by, the 2013 awards should be a far more headache-inducing affair. The VGX awards takes games and presents them in the most clichéd and over-hyped manner possible, and speaks to each and every one of us as if we’re all Wii-owning virgins or fist-pumping jocks bashing our heads against an Xbox. When will the industry understand that gamers have grown up, turned their Nintendo’s off and evolved?
Game of the year was Rockstar’s GTA V but truly, we’ve done you a great service here. After the videos, we have a list of the actual winners.
Titanfall
No Man’s Sky
Tom Clancy’s The Division
South Park: The Stick of Truth
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
