‘GTA V’ meets David Attenborough in this underwater mockumentary [Video]
Rockstar Games has done the gaming world a favour with GTA V. The game is an absolute beast, and I’m not just talking about the bountiful wildlife you can actually possess and play.
8-BIT BASTARD, a YouTube comedy gaming channel noted for its Sopranos reenactments using GTA, has now made a documentary of the game’s sea life entitled “Into The Deep”.
Using the game’s submersible, the gamer takes the plunge into the murky waters surrounding Blaine County and Los Santos to uncover some of the wildlife, flora and undersea collectables one can hope to find.
And it’s pretty good.
There’s also a rather touching scene with a killer whale and its stricken calf that will have you shedding a tear or two.
Although the facts might not add up, the documentary style was subtly mirrored in a game usually noted for its grotesque violence and crass subject matter.
Give the strangely clever and unique 13 minute video a view below.
