PS4 update 2.03 brings stability improvements, new themes
If your console was plugged in and connected to the internet last night, you probably would’ve noticed an update had been installed.
Version 2.03 for the PS4 system was issued by Sony to address software stability.
This update didn’t bring any eye-popping goodies unfortunately, but a more stable and reliable system is an equally good way to a gamer’s heart. A few new themes are also included.
Earlier this year, update 2.00 “Masamune” introduced major feature improvements and additions including Share Play, YouTube sharing, a USB music player (finally), custom theme options and a host of other improvements. This 217MB update however, aims to simply improve the simple things.

This week has already been quite a busy one for the chaps at PlayStation, with the first incarnation of the console celebrating it’s 20th anniversary yesterday. As a show of goodwill, Sony has also issued some anniversary price drops in certain regions and, more interestingly, the company has announced an Original Grey PS4 limited edition version of the console.
On the back of this, there’s also a rumour floating around that Capcom‘s about to announce a new game for the PS4, thanks to the company’s Hiroyushi Kobayashi’s bean-spilling at the PlayStation Awards recently.
