Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge now available to pre-order in South Africa
Samsung‘s starlit duo, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, are now both available to pre-order in South Africa. Both phones will also launch in South Africa on 10 April, through MTN and Vodacom.
“For a limited time only,” the company notes, “Samsung is offering those who pre-order the Galaxy S6 or S6 edge, a free wireless charging pad – the ultimate accessory for the handset,” to ultimately boast one of its most promising features.
The phones are compatible with two of the most frequently used wireless charging technologies, but wireless charging as a whole, is still in its infancy.
Vodacom‘s portal allows users to customise the device prior to purchase, with 32GB and 64GB internal storage options.
MTN is also offering a possible prize to one of the first 200 customers who pre-order the device.
CelluCity and Samsung South Africa also boast portals for those looking to pre-order both phones.
Expect both phones to retail over R10 000 once launched, and to compete with the likes of Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
