Sony reveals 1TB ‘Ultimate Player’ PlayStation 4 console

Responding to threats posed by Microsoft, Sony has announced that it will be offering a PlayStation 4 console with a 1TB storage drive dubbed the Ultimate Player Edition.
The console will be available “worldwide” from 15 July and will offer double the storage first offered by the company’s launch console. But that’s not the real kicker.
The newer consoles (Sony will be offering a revised 500GB option as well), will now feature entirely grainy plastic finishes rather than that fingerprint and scratch magnet glossy drive cover previously used.
Additionally, the console will be slightly lighter in terms of weight and power draw, which should make a tiny difference on that monthly electricity bill.
Have a look at the console’s “launch trailer” below for more details.
