Until Dawn is ‘scary as hell’ according to new preview video

We’ve had a good few horror games since the current-gen consoles were released, but it seems that the latest PlayStation 4 exclusive Until Dawn takes the cake as the scariest of the lot.

While the game is just over a month away from its international release on 25 August, PlayStation South Africa wrangled up some of the country’s bravest media to experience the game first hand. And from what we can gather, it’s a title laden with jump scares and “puts you in the role of a B-grade horror movie,” which is something every snobby horror fan would love.

We reserve judgement though, considering that the last batch of horror games failed to inspire, including The Evil Within and to a lesser degree Techland‘s Dying Light. Supermassive Games‘ Until Dawn will hope to change this.
