Gamescom Awards 2015 nominees: ‘Star Wars: Battlefront’ top scores

Gamescom 2015 is slowly drawing upon us, and we’re just over two days until the expo opens its doors to the public. Even so, we’re heard some big news coming from Cologne already, including the likes of Sony not making the trip.
Digitale Spielekultur, Gamescom organiser, has also announced its list of candidates for its annual Gamescom Awards, which sees them hand out accolades to some of the best titles in their respective genres and fields.
While many may cite a few omissions from this year’s roster, there are some games that are performing well above expectations, including Guitar Hero Live and Skylanders SuperChargers.
Other than that, Square Enix’s best kept secret Final Fantasy XV, and EA’s Star Wars: Battlefront are two games that seem to be appearing more often than most. Konami’s Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is also thrown in for good measure.
