ColorWare’s $300 Titan is an Xbox One Elite in a swanky jacket
We love custom console controllers (and we’ll have an Xbox One Elite review ready for your perusal soon), but there’s one major problem with them: they’re a bit expensive.
Take ColorWare’s latest limited edition Xbox One Eite controller for example (spotted by WindowsCentral). Dubbed the Titan, it retails for a cool US$299 — that’s just US$100 less than the Xbox One itself and about double the price of the standard Elite.
Mental.
Still, visually at least, it’s worth lusting over if you ask us.
Disappointingly though, what you see isn’t quite carbon fibre, but a “custom gold carbon fiber graphic” paying homage to the material itself. Nevertheless, this does mean that the Titan is heavier and “more substantial” than the standard Elite controller.
That’s cool, but why am I spending all this money again?
If your wallet knows no bounds, and your mind no sanity, you’ll have to hurry, because ColorWare’s only making 50 of these beauties.
