Xbox One bundle drops to R4999 for limited time
The Xbox One has been available in South Africa for two years. To celebrate this, the official distributor, Prima Interactive, is putting the console on special for a limited time.
For R4999 you’ll be able to pick up an Xbox One 500GB model with an additional controller, a copy of FIFA 17, and a 3-month subscription to Xbox Live. There is a 1TB version available for R5799.
“This opens up the opportunity to play on Xbox Live and experience the best online service. The three month Live Gold subscription includes four free Xbox games per month on the Games with Gold program,” says CEO of Prima Interactive, Ian Hepplewhite, in a press release to Gearburn.
Xbox One debuted in South Africa two years ago
“With the FIFA 17 bundle, free wireless controller and Xbox Live Gold subscription, people purchasing a console during the promotion period will receive an impressive R2 747 worth of added value”
The latest revision of the console, the Xbox One S, has been released internationally with no date for SA yet. It is 40% smaller than the previous Xbox One model, includes 4K video support, and has a built-in power supply.
The specials are valid from 30 September to 8 October, or while stocks last, from “all leading gaming retailers.”
