Nintendo 3DS receives stability firmware update 11.2.0-35, adds nothing new
Just over a month after its previous 11.1.0-34 update, Nintendo has released a brand new firmware for the handheld console. What does this new update add?
This new update, simply named 11.2.0-35, brings with it a range of no new features. In fact, it includes the only thing that’s been present in the previous 13 updates: “System stability improvements and other adjustments.” That’s according to Nintendo’s support page for the console range.
Given the slew of these same updates, Nintendo is more than likely trying to block illegal software from running on the system. Just four days after the release of 11.1.0-34, the modding community found an exploit for the software.

If you’re still running 11.1.0-34 or older, you’ll need to update the system in order to access online functionality, such as the Internet Browser or eShop.
This new update should be available in all regions. It is also compatible with the Nintendo 2DS line of consoles.
