DC’s Injustice 2 story trailer: The rise of Brainiac

DC’s new offering, Injustice 2, directed by Ed Boon and produced by Adam Urbano, continues on from the previous game and will see Batman along with others take on those trying to restore Superman’s regime.

While the beloved characters are hashing out their personal issues, a new threat looms — Brainiac.

Injustice 2, much like the movies, carry on with DC’s dark and dreary themes, showcasing the realities of what it means to be a “hero” and the casualties thereof.

The character roster will see the return of many favourites from the previous game along with new characters such as Atrocitus, Gorilla Grodd, Bane, Poison Ivy, Robin, Brainiac and many others. It’s also been confirmed that you get to play as the warlord himself, Darkseid.

Regrettably, it seems as though Darkseid might only be unlocked through preorders.
