Watch: How does Skyrim on Switch compare to other ports?
Set for a 17 November 2017 release on Nintendo Switch, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the latest big-hitting title to hit Nintendo’s portable machine.
So how does it fare compared to other versions of the game? YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits has compared visuals across all the major ports, including the original PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 games. The remastered versions of the game (PC, Xbox One and PS4) are also compared.
All in all, it’s clear that the Switch version can’t hold a candle to the PC original, while the title also seems to look a little softer than the last-gen console versions. All in all, it seems like the Switch version is pretty close to the older versions, rather than falling firmly between the generations.
