With today’s discerning consumer demanding that their wearable tech be as functional as it is fashionable, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series steps boldly…
TCL V760 surfaces online, which Alcatel smartphone is this?
TCL is the custodian of the Alcatel smartphone brand these days, releasing a host of phones in China and emerging markets. And at CES 2018, we saw the company tease three new phone categories, in the form of the Alcatel 1, 3 and 5 series.
The company didn’t reveal much about these products though, with little in the way of specs to be had.
Now, Chinese telecoms regulatory body TENAA has published details of the TCL V760. And if serial tipster Evan Blass’s earlier leaks are true, then this should be the Alcatel 3V.

According to information on TENAA, the smartphone packs an unspecified quad-core 1.3Ghz CPU (presumably A53 cores), 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 5.7-inch 1440×720 display (with an 18:9 screen ratio), a 2900mAh battery and Android 7.1.1.
The attached images (shown in the main image) also show a dual-camera setup on the back (the listing points to 8MP) and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
For what it’s worth, the phone does seem to line up with TCL’s prior description of the 3 Series, saying it would pack “dual cameras, beautiful design and 18:9 full view displays”.
