Gallery: the MWC 2018 smartphones you may have missed
From Sony and Samsung to LG and Huawei, there are loads of recognisable names at MWC every year, but the huge event also plays host to wares from lesser known brands and devices.
Whether it’s ZTE’s Nubia line, dual-screen smartphones or Ulefone, we take a look at some of the less prominent and/or more innovative devices.
Zte Axon M Mwc
Alcatel 1x Android Go
The Alcatel 1X is one of the first wave of Android Go phones. Don't expect a ton of RAM or storage space.
Hisense H11 Pro Mwc
The H11 Pro is Hisense's higher end option, delivering a Snapdragon 630, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The UI reminds me of Huawei for some reason.
Hisense H11 Sd430 Mwc
The Hisense H11 packs an ageing Snapdragon 430 chip, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. If it's priced well, we could see this being a decent budget pick.
Leagoo T5c Mwc 2018
Leagoo's T5C stands out purely because it marks Intel's return to mobile chipsets, albeit via Spreadtrum.
Moto Mod Health Mwc
The latest Moto Mod offers readings for your blood pressure, respiratory rate, temperature and more. It takes about 90 seconds at this stage, while pricing/launch info hasn't been nailed down yet.
Nomu Smartphones Mwc
Little-known brand NOMU also had a presence, showing off its durable smartphones.
Ulefone Power 5 13000mah
The Ulefone Power 5 might just wrest the biggest battery crown from Oukitel. It has a 13 000mAh battery on board.
Ulefone S9 Pro
What's an Ulefone stand if it doesn't have a phone with the same name as Samsung's latest?
Ulefone T2 Pro Mwc
The Ulefone T2 Pro isn't out for a few more months, we were told by an employee, but it packs the Mediatek Helio P70. That chip hasn't been confirmed by Mediatek, by the way.
Wiko View 2 Pro Iphone X Clone
French brand Wiko has an iPhone X clone of its own, although the notch is more Essential than Apple. The camera housing screams Apple though. Derivative.
Zte Axon M Mwc
The ZTE Axon M, also seen in the featured image, isn't new. But the dual-screen feature makes it worth a look.
Zte Nubia N3 Unreleased
Not much is known about the unreleased Nubia N3, apart from the fact that it has dual cameras, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
Zte Tempo Go
ZTE is also joining the Android Go initiative, packing 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.
