Nintendo has sold more than 19-million Switch consoles to date, this according to the Japanese company’s Q2 2018 earnings report.

“For Nintendo Switch, hardware sales in every region have been trending upwards since the video game expo, E3, was held in the US in June,” the company writes in its report.

It has now sold more than six-million more units than the Nintendo Wii U, and less than 20-million short of the failed console’s total software sales.

Speaking of which just under 87-million software units were sold for the Nintendo Switch as of the end of Q2 2018.

As for its top selling games, Super Mario Odyssey has racked up 11.17-million sales to date, Mario Kart Deluxe 8 has sold 10.35-million, and The Legend of Zelda: Breathe of the Wild is responsible for 9.32-million sales.

Nintendo Labo has sold more than 1.3-million units in just over two months.

For those who love dollar symbols, Nintendo’s profits are up too. The Japanese firm racked up just below US$400-million, a 42% jump over the previous year’s quarterly figure.
