While the cost of living may be climbing in South Africa, techies do what techies do: spend even more money on devices. With that said, we take a look at a few interesting deals listed today from the world of South Africa’s online stores.

iPhone SE 32GB | Was R5999, Now R4499

Listed at 25% off, the iPhone SE has long been the understated device in the Apple smartphone range. Just because it’s based on 2013’s iPhone 5, doesn’t mean it can’t offer entry level value into the Cupertino ecosystem.

Sennheiser Momentum M2 AE | Was R5000, Now R2999

Listed at 40%, the Sennheiser Momentums are over-the-ear phones with a metal frame and leather earcups. They’re also sold with a travel pouch.

NieR: Automata (PS4) | Was R899, Now R389

One of 2017’s bigger PlayStation 4 titles, NieR: Automata is listed at a cool R849 on the official South African PlayStation Store.

Ultimate Ears Boom 2 | Was R2899, Now R1699

Granted, you could probably find better Bluetooth speakers listed at lower prices, but the Logitech UE Boom 2 is still an excellent choice. It’s listed at 41% off today too, and is waterproof, shockproof and designed for use at the poolside (maybe not in July though).

BWOO 10 000mAh Qi Wireless powerbank | Was R600, Now R379

Palit GeForce GTX 1070 JetStream – Was R8199, Now R6999

Shopping for a graphics card is always a headache, but this particular deal may just fit into your upgrading budget. The 1070 is by no means a slouch either, with a boost clock set at 1683MHz and a base at 1506 MHz. 8GB of GDDR5, three DisplayPort 1.4 slots, one HDMI 2.0b slot, and one DL-DVI-D connector completes the package.

Pantum P2500W A4 Mono Laser Printer | Was R699, Now R399

Not all tech is about play. You don’t buy a mono laser printer (with WiFi, mind) if you’re upgrading your rig. But for those who command an office, this 43% deal seems quite the pick.

North Face Long-Haul 26 | Was R5289, Now R2855

Any travellers in the house? The North Face Long-Haul 26 features 67-litres of storage space, a pull-out handle with wheels, and a 24 month warranty.
