Just Cause 4’s panoramic trailer teases Avalanche’s Apex engine’s tech

Red Dead might be the only game your friends and granny are talking about this week, but it’s not the only title to look forward to this year.

In December, Rico Rodriquez will return with more disregard for his own life in Just Cause 4.

Developed by Avalanche Studios, Just Cause 4 is set to include the explosions that made the third instalment so enjoyable, while also introducing a new government you can overthrow in a country called Solis.

The title, which received its panoramic 4K 60fps trailer this week, is also set to include dynamic weather effects — powered by Avalanche’s Apex engine — as well as better, smarter NPCs. (Good news, because they couldn’t get any dumber in Just Cause 3.)
