Apex Legends hits 50 million players in just four weeks

Well, that was quick. In just 28 days since its launch, EA’s free battle royale first-person shooter Apex Legends has cracked the 50-million player mark.
This comes from an announcement from Respawn Entertainment, the developer of the title.
“Apex Legends hit 50 Million players worldwide! We are humbled by all your support and can’t wait to show you what’s next,” it tweeted on Monday.
Notably, it took Fortnite much longer to crack the 50-million player mark, but at present has some 200 million players.
