Samsung is going after rollable phones, report suggests

Samsung hasn’t even successfully launched its foldable phone yet, but that hasn’t stopped the company from coming up with more outrageous ideas.

A report by Gizmodo (via Lets Go Digital) on Wednesday revealed patent images that suggest Samsung is designing a rollable phone.

That’s right, a phone with a screen that rolls out into a longer screen.

While there’s no telling if, and when, this device will ever materialise, it’s clear that the company is still confident enough to keep pitching futuristic designs.

If Samsung can get the Galaxy Fold right, maybe the Galaxy ‘Roll’ will be more plausible in the future.
