Apple to implement scissor switch keyboard design in 2019 MacBook Air

Apple is reportedly dropping its problematic butterfly keyboard for an all-new design, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed to 9to5Mac on Thursday.

According to Kuo, the company will be implementing a scissor switch design reinforced by glass fibre in 2019 MacBook Airs.

The design is expected to be cheaper to manufacture, and should improve the performance of future MacBook keyboards.
