Samsung Galaxy A50’s June software update adds more camera modes
The mid-range Samsung Galaxy A50’s latest update arms the camera with a few more bells and whistles.
According to SamMobile via a Twitter user, the update includes the June 2019 security patch for Android Pie, as well as a few tweaks to Knox Guard, Samsung’s digital gatekeeper.
More interestingly though, the 422MB patch also adds Night Mode and Super Slow-mo mode for video to the Samsung camera app.

Night Mode, which allows for more detailed low-light snaps, first appeared on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Samsung Galaxy S10 series last month.
SamMobile notes that Indian users should see the update at present, but it’s not clear when it’ll roll out in South Africa for the R7000 device.
