Steam is making it much easier to find those sneaky special sale offers
Valve on Tuesday revealed several new Steam updates that will help users refine their searches on the platform.
According to the company, gamers can now search Steam according to price range, special offers, VR support and tags.
“Our ‘sort by relevance’ algorithm will also place heavier weight on tags you’ve requested, meaning you’ll see more relevant results upfront, making it easier to find compelling titles,” Valve said in a blog post.
Additionally, users can exclude titles they already know when searching through games on the platform too.
“Our new filters allow you to hide games that are ignored, wishlisted, or already in your library,” the company noted.
Steam now supports infinite scroll as well, so users don’t have to load additional pages with sifting through search results either.
The updates come after Valve released a redesigned version of its game distribution platform in October last year.
