Sony launches new PC gaming brand: When will it arrive in South Africa?
Expanding its gaming brand past PlayStation consoles, Sony has announced the launch of a new PC gaming gear brand called InZone.
The new brand includes a range of gaming monitors and gaming headsets that focus on performance and interoperability between PCs and PlayStation consoles.
“With Sony’s strong history of high-end audio and visual technology products, we believe this new line will offer even more options for those looking to upgrade their current gaming systems. We are committed to contributing to the growth of gaming culture by providing PC and PlayStation gamers with a wider range of options to enrich lives through gaming,” Yukihiro Kitajima, Sony’s Head of Game Business and Marketing Office, said in a statement.
For now, the monitors seem to have limited availability, including not being available in the Asia Pacific region.
However, the headphones will see a wider rollout.

Sony has launched three new headsets: the InZone H9, H7, and H3.
The InZone H3 is a wired headset that features 360 Spatial Sound for Gaming
If you’re looking for a wireless headset, the InZone H7 also features 360 Spatial Sound for Gaming and up to 40 hours of battery life. It also features quick charging technology so that gamers can get 1 hour of battery life from 10 minutes of charging.
The InZone H9 is also a wireless headset, but in addition to 360 Spatial Sound for Gaming, it includes noise cancelling and an ambient sound mode. Its battery life is slightly lower, with up to 32 hours of battery. It features the same quick charge technology as the H7.
All of the headsets, according to Sony, are optimized for comfort. They also work with InZone Hub PC software that allows users to customize their sound profiles.
