Hot new Molly Medusa: Queen of spit game soon on Nintendo Switch
Heavy metal soundtrack makers Burning planet have compiled a soundtrack for incoming Molly Medusa, a 3-dimensional game about a protagonist sculptor with snake hair.
The game simply introduces a medusa complex, a young character named Molly with hair filled with snakes.
Everything Molly is exposed to turns into stone or statue.
That’s every living thing in the game, friends, allies and enemies will all turn to stone when they see the young Molly Medusa.
Swedish developer Göteborg announces Molly Medusa: Queen of Spit, as a gravity-bending 3D adventure where everyone turns to stone.
Molly goes through a series of temples struggling with alienation and loneliness.
With gravity-less scenes from the game, the game features some interesting architecture signaling a historically inspired look and feel for the snake haired protagonist.
The game which will soon be released on Nintendo Switch in spring 2023 features a soundtrack from Burning Planet, a music production company for games.
Game developer Niklas Hallin said the time had come to introduce his next step since his previous release Yono and the Celestial Elephants, which paved the way for Molly Medusa.
For those with a minimal history backround, Medusa in ancient Greek mythology was a beautiful maiden seduced by Poseidon in a temple of Athena.
As punishment, Medusa’s hair was turned into snakes, which also meant those who witnessed her – with her snake filled hair – would now turn into stone.
In mythology, she was defeated by Greek hero Perseus.
This 3D adventure, although slightly on the dark side promises to introduce players to a fully fledged 3D experience.
The game features some temples and statues as its main theme maintaining the look and feel of inspiration from Ancient Greek mythology.
