TCL Levels Up Black Ops 7 With Next-Gen QD Mini LED Displays Built for Serious Gamers
TCL and Call of Duty strengthen a long running gaming alliance
With Black Ops 7 rolling out globally, TCL has renewed and expanded its partnership with Call of Duty, positioning its latest QD Mini LED televisions as the ideal displays for the franchise’s next chapter. The company, recognised as the world’s number one ultra large screen TV brand by OMDIA in 2024, is using the launch to showcase how far its display technology has evolved for players who demand clarity, speed and immersion.
TCL remains the Official TV Partner for Call of Duty, a title that reflects years of collaboration with Activision across multiple releases, creator events and competitive gaming activations. For TCL, Black Ops 7 is an opportunity to demonstrate what next-generation displays can deliver when paired with one of gaming’s most demanding franchises.
Big screen immersion built for tactical intensity
Call of Duty games thrive on scale, detail and rapid movement. TCL’s QD Mini LED panels have been engineered to amplify those moments with precise local dimming, high refresh rates and high brightness levels that make shadows, textures and rapid motion easier to track.
Across the lineup, players get improved contrast, refined lighting control and smoother motion handling, helping them respond more accurately during firefights. Whether scanning dark corners or navigating fast cutscenes, every detail is designed to stand out.
TCL C7K pushes brightness and depth for serious immersion
The C7K is positioned as a performance jump for players who want both cinematic depth and high responsiveness. With up to 2,800 dimming zones and peak brightness reaching 3,000 nits, the display produces strong contrast and vibrant HDR.
A native 144 Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro keep gameplay smooth during high intensity battles. The panel’s improved HDR performance helps players pick up UI detail, surface textures and lighting cues in the world of Black Ops 7.
TCL C6K focuses on pure responsiveness
The C6K brings a fast, fluid experience for players who prioritise speed. Its 144 Hz display, VRR support and low input lag cater to competitive encounters where reaction times matter. The QD Mini LED backlight uses hundreds of dimming zones to lift visibility in dark environments, helping players spot movement and environmental cues that are often missed on standard panels.
TCL C8K delivers flagship performance for 2026
Set to arrive in South Africa in 2026, the C8K is TCL’s premium display and the most advanced of the lineup. It features up to 3,840 dimming zones with peak brightness between 4,500 and 5,000 nits depending on screen size. Combined with a 4K 144 Hz panel and ultra fast motion processing, it is designed for players who want maximum immersion and clarity on large screens.
The C8K covers 97 percent of the DCI P3 colour range, producing over a billion colours for a richer, more lifelike image. For next gen consoles, it is the closest to a theatre sized gaming experience.
Game Master technology optimises competitive performance
All three models include TCL’s Game Master suite. The system auto activates low latency modes, manages VRR and FreeSync stability and provides a quick access dashboard for real time tweaks. Shadow boosting tools improve visibility in dark zones, a critical advantage during tactical engagements in Black Ops 7.
Wide angle viewing ensures consistent brightness and colour accuracy even when players sit off-centre or share a screen during co-op sessions.
A partnership built on shared gaming DNA
TCL says its long standing partnership with Call of Duty is built on a shared commitment to high performance gaming experiences. With Black Ops 7, this evolves into a showcase of how modern QD Mini LED technology can meet the needs of players and creators.
Both Scott Ramirez of TCL Home Theater and Majid Khan Niazi, Marketing Director for TCL Middle East and Africa, emphasised that Black Ops 7 demanded next generation brightness, contrast and motion precision to reflect the intentions of its creators.
