LeEco Le 2: does this R3900 phone have a good camera? [Photos]
Aside from this week’s weird review unit issues, we really dig the LeEco Le 2 smartphone, being exclusive to Takealot.
At around R3900, you’re getting loads of bang for your buck, in the form of a powerful Snapdragon 652 chip, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a solid 1080p display. In saying so, bargain-priced handsets often falter in the camera department, so how does the Le 2 fare?
Well, it’s got a 16MP f/2.0 main camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. We’ve been using it for a few weeks, so here are a few samples for your perusal.

Pleasant colours are to be had with the Le 2's main camera during the day. Just don't expect to zoom in for days.

Daytime selfies are crisp, as you'd expect from an 8MP shooter.

Low-light selfies are definitely doable, but expect oodles of noise and mushy details.

The Le 2 definitely needs several attempts and/or stepping back a bit for macro-type shots.

An HDR shot does a great job here.

You can make out the details in the chalk (at least in the shade), while a pleasant, albeit slightly noisy blue sky is in the background.
