Fallout 76’s beta will launch in three weeks
Though Fallout 76 will only be released in November, game developer Bethesda has announced a beta version coming in late October.
“During the B.E.T.A. one of our primary goals is to stress test and break the game,” said the company in a blog post.
To do this, the beta version will not run constantly, instead players will “be online during targeted timeframes so we can get as many people as possible playing at the same time”. Bethesda explains that it believes this is the best way to test its systems.
The company also released the in-game introduction on YouTube.
“Our B.E.T.A. (Break-It Early Test Application) will arrive first on Xbox One on Tuesday, October 23, and one week later for PlayStation 4 and PC players on Tuesday, October 30,” it concluded.
