Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is hitting South Korea on 5 April
The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, the company’s first phone with 5G support, is set to launch on 5 April.
According to Korean sources quoted by SamMobile, the device will likely be the world’s first 5G smartphone available to the public.
As for US audiences, the phone is set to arrive later in the month on Verizon’s network. The US carrier is set to launch its 5G network on 11 April, so likely after this date.
The 5G, along with its networking capabilities, also presents some added bonus features over the stock S10 and S10 Plus.
It features four cameras at the rear — one of which is a time-of-flight camera — a larger 6.7 inch screen, and a larger 4500mAh battery.
It’s not clear when, or if, the phone will be released in South Africa just yet.
