We probably won’t see the Samsung Galaxy Fold until July, report suggests
The Samsung Galaxy Fold’s launch is delayed yet again according to a report on Tuesday
The Korea Herald, citing industry sources, states that Samsung will not launch the foldable smartphone in June like initially planned. Well, after the devices’ flaws delayed its official launch which was initially set for April.
It’s an odd announcement, especially considering reports from Yonhap earlier this month that Samsung had in fact remedied the Fold’s screen and hinge issues. However, it’s likely that this fix will take time to implement.
The delay’s also bad news for those who pre-ordered the foldable phone.
Last week, US retailer Best Buy reportedly sent an email to customers noting it would be cancelling early orders for the device, which is set to retail for around $2000 in the States.
