HP debuts the ‘world’s first’ cartridge-less laser printer
HP South Africa on Wednesday announced the “world’s first cartridge-free laser printer” dubbed the Neverstop Laser.
The company’s calling it “an entirely new, rapid-reload laser printer that helps entrepreneurs stop wasting time on interruptions” and is aiming it at small-to-medium sized enterprises.
The printer has a new toner supply system, called a toner tank, that allows users to slot in a tank instead of swapping out a large, messy toner cartridge. Each toner tank is good for around 5000 printed pages, while swapping one out should take 15 seconds.
The printer itself will arrive in South Africa in August.
