Microsoft debuts new wireless Xbox Elite 2 controller with Bluetooth and USB-C
Microsoft on Sunday announced a new Xbox Elite controller for serious tryhard gamers (like me).
The controller sure looks stockier, witih grippier trigger grips, tension thumbsticks adjustable by a tiny allen key-like tool, and paddles with shorter activation arcs.
More impressive still is the addition of Bluetooth (which means possible connectivity with Android devices), USB-C for charging, and a 40 hour play time. Oh, and best of all, it also features an internal battery pack.
The controller’s currently available for preorder in the States, and it will arrive in November for $179.
Unfortunately, the controller’s not currently listed on South Africa’s Xbox website, so it’s not yet clear when it’ll ship to our shores.
