Get to know the Galaxy Note 10’s dongle a bit better before launch
If you’re in line to buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 when the curtains are raised on 7 August, you should know something: there won’t be a headphone jack.
Suggested for ages via rumours and leaks, the Galaxy Note 10 will ditch the one port most of us would rather remain, than depart. Replacing it, is a USB-C-to-3.5mm headphone jack dongle, which you’re just going to have to get along with.
Courtesy of SamMobile and WinFuture’s Roland Quandt, the phone’s dongle has now been leaked, confirming those rumours.

Instead of the usual black cables we’ve seen added to the boxes of Samsung’s more recent flagships, this dongle is white. Perhaps that also confirms the existence of a white Samsung Galaxy Note 10?
What’s important too is that Samsung could be giving away a pair of Galaxy Buds in the box as well, allowing users to enjoy wireless (inferior) audio. There will also likely be an AKG-made set of wired buds too, according to previous leaks.
With that said, I guess we can all start to prepare for life after the headphone jack. Apple first, Sony, and now Samsung. Who’s next?
