Instax Link Wide printer launching in South Africa: price and details
Fujifilm South Africa has announced the launch of its Instax Link Wide instant film printer in South Africa — along with price details for the device.
The printer provides wide instant film prints with images measuring 62mm by 99mm (with a total film size of 86mm by 108mm). This makes them two times larger than regular Instax Mini prints.
The printer allows users to connect their smartphone via Bluetooth and edit pictures using the Instax app. You can then send these pictures to the device to print.
However, the new printer also features a new rich mode for improved colour saturation. In addition, it also allows users to add a QR code to the print that you can scan to access additional information such as a voice note, website link, location data or hidden text.
The Instax Link Wide also works with the Fujifilm X-S10 mirrorless camera, allowing you to send images directly from the camera to the printer.
The device uses a rechargeable battery, so you can use it on the go. Depending on usage, a full charge can deliver around 100 prints.
In the box, it comes with its USB charging cable, a matching stand, and a strap.
