Is this the longest battery life from a phone? Huawei nova Y72
Flexing an impressive 6000 mAh of battery and a new X button, we see the arrival of the latest introduction to the Huawei family, the Huawei Nova Y72, now available in South Africa.
Chinese consumer group Huawei introduces a modernly styled device with a range of features that promise to make it stand out from competitors.
An impressive 6000mAh is their selling point, but can you blame Huawei for placing this impressive foot forward?
What else is inside the Huawei Nova Y72?
Every smartphone promises convenience, functionality, and overall versatility.
The Huawei Nova X72 brings to the proverbial table a 50MP camera system and a 6.75-inch display, alongside a newly added X button which is Huawei’s response to users for those commonly used apps.
There are around 31 hours of video playback, 80 hours of music playback, and 30-hours of continuous calls, on paper from the Y72. Couple that with the 25 hours of web browsing and you have a device that promises to outlast competition.
X Button
This button is Huawei’s latest addition. It can be found on the left-hand side of the devices and allows quicker access to user apps.
The feature organizes and displays preferred apps in a convenient and quick menu, and allows users to customize their preferred default apps conveniently.
Think, of navigating directly to the music app in just two taps, or launching the navigation app at a click.
Appeal
When a device arrives on the market, it usually makes several promises, but can it really back them up?
We see a 50MP camera system with a high-definition main and macro camera.
A large F1.8 aperture complements the 5oMP camera for more tasteful images.
To reduce noise in images, Huawei has added a 4-in-1 pixel binning technology that will assist in noise reduction while dishing up a dynamic range of images.
The screen sits at 6.75 inches with a comforting 90.25% screen-to-body ratio.
The device is available online at Huawei’s online store alongside other operator channels countrywide.
