Leaked Windows 8 RTM screenshots show new themes, backgrounds and bootscreen

Windows 8 RTM, or release to manufacturing, lands sometime during the first week of August 2012, with the gold version hitting eager devices on 26 October.

Screenshots from this Windows rumour site leak like liquid glass into our peepers, revealing a few secrets from camp Microsoft.

Like, where is the transparent Aero window we’ve all come to know and love? From the screenshots, it appears that the transparency has either been toggled off, or completely removed from Windows 8 RT. We’ll find the answers out very soon.

All images are taken from the 8518 build of Windows 8 RTM, the latest version.
