Pantech’s Vega No. 6 is a six-inch 1080p LTE monster phablet from Korea
Things are just getting ridiculous now. Is the Pantech Vega No. 6, a six-inch behemoth of a phone the largest phablet to ever hit the market? Probably. And it’s a Korean exclusive.
And holy hell, has this thing got a battery and a half. A 3140mAh battery, which is reported to charge to full capacity in under two hours. This makes it one of the largest capacity mobile phone batteries in existence. Nevermind the battery though, ‘cause the No. 6 has other features that makes it uber-desirable.
It’s an LTE phone, powered by Android Jelly Bean and sporting an insane 13-megapixel camera. Other specs include a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU. No word yet on the pixels-per-inch but we predict something crazy like 400PPI or more.
There’s a wrinkle in the plan though. The Vega No. 6 is going to cost an insane US$780. This makes it one of the most expensive mobile phones ever made, outside of Apple’s unlocked 64GB iPhone 5 which costs US$850. No release date yet, but start saving those pennies as the Vega No. 6 is a hot little number that’ll seemingly give most phablets a run for their money.
