EverythingMe launches predictive Android mod, previews Firefox Launcher

EverythingMe is a new Android app that can help you personalise your homescreen based on predictions. To further better your experience, Mozilla and EverythingMe have also teamed up to announce the Firefox Launcher for Android.

If your haven’t heard of it, EverythingMe is an Israeli tech startup responsible for the homescreen mod for Android that is meant to “anticipate your needs, delivering the right apps, contacts and info every time you pick up your phone.”

This is similar to Google Now. Based on your usual activity, location and time, the software presents you with relevant apps and information. It can help prevent app overcrowding and contextualize your whole smartphone experience.

By integrating web activity, the yet-to-be-released Firefox Launcher for Android plans to make it easy to discover the content you want and is optimized for the way you use your smartphone.

EverythingMe writes in a blog post:

Mozilla says, “We’re working together to deliver the best mobile Web experience to people everywhere — regardless of location, platform or device. We are happy to expand our work together with this new product to give people more smart, easy and innovative ways to personalize their Web experience and meet their needs in any context.”

EverythingMe notes that it’s “pushing forward” with both iOS and Android products.
