Xiaomi Mi 4i available globally for under $250
Xiaomi has been making some huge waves in the industry and has largely earned its Apple of China nickname. But finally, one of its most promising phones, the Indian-exclusive Xiaomi Mi 4i, is now available globally for US$232.89 including shipping.
That price tag fetches quite a bit of phone too.
Beneath the colourful shell and 5.0-inch 1080p screen, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (used by the likes of the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua), 2GBs of RAM and a non-expandable 16GB of internal storage — perhaps the only bad mark against this device.

And if you’re one for regular camera usage, Xiaomi bolts two adequate snappers to this device.
There’s a 13MP primary camera with a two-tone LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera up front, and both have been proven to be more than adequate. Additionally, there’s a rather large battery as well, at 3120mAh — that’s around 700mAh more than what you’ll find in a Samsung Galaxy S6.
The deal, currently offered by GearBest and not Xiaomi itself, doesn’t seem to bad when considering the Mi 4i’s spec sheet and its rivals’ offerings in the same price bracket.
There’s currently no specified termination period on the offer.
