Houdt launches swanky wooden 2016 MacBook covers
Houdt, a South African accessory marque noted for its love of wood, has announced a new series of 2016 MacBook covers.
“Inspired by the functional beauty of nature, the Houdt MacBook Cover range is designed to protect the top of your MacBook from everyday spills, bangs, bumps and scratches,” the press release reads.
The company’s not exactly foreign to draping Apple products in wood either, as it has previously crafted covers for iPhones, as well as Samsung and Huawei devices too.
The new MacBook covers though is perhaps the most expensive device the company has gone for thus far.
Sizes covered range from 11.0-inches to the 15.0-inch display model, and will be available via the Houdt online store or iFix in three types of wood: cherrywood, walnut and bamboo.
And the asking price? R449.
