The Alfa 4C sounds absolutely magical

Ever since it first came to light as a concept car, Alfa Romeo’s 4C has been high up on pretty much every petrol head’s “can’t wait to drive” list.

And why not? It’s an absolute stunner, condensing a number of elements from the now defunct 8C into a smaller, tighter-looking package.

Unfortunately, we still have no idea when the 4C will go on sale but thanks an Italian track day we know what noise its 1.75-liter, four-cylinder engine emits through the exhaust.

If that doesn’t send chills down your spine then I’m sorry and I hope you manage to recover your soul sometime soon. Personally, we think that noise is a little bit wasted on a track and can’t wait to hear it racing down a mountain pass or blasting its way through an Alpine tunnel.
