The Paris Motor Show will give us the successor to the Espace

Just over 30 years ago, Renault launched the Espace and helped bring the multi-purpose-vehicle (MPV) class into the mainstream.
Now though, it looks like it’s time for one of the world’s most iconic vehicles to get a successor.
Set to be unveiled at the Paris Motor show, the Espace replacement will be the highlight of Renault and Dacia’s cumulative efforts at the exhibition, which kicks off on 2 October.
It’s unclear exactly what features the new car will come with and what it’ll have under the bonnet, but it seems likely that it will be a crossover and will most probably be based on the Initiale concept it showed off at the same show last year.
That said, it’ll probably be significantly toned down.
