Here’s what 360-degree camera footage looks like from a dune buggy [video]

Dune buggy racing is just a body-shell and a bigger motor short of full RallyCross, so it’s pretty damn impressive. So when you strap a 360-degree camera on one and go for a spin, you know that you’re going to be in for some amazing footage.

That’s what new Nissan NISMO GT Academy winner Matt Simmons did when he jumped into a raging buggy and ploughed it through a sand quarry.

If you happen to be a part of the NISMO GT Academy, you’re a pretty adept driver talent wise. Recently, Nissan announced that it’s GT Academy winners will be included in the World Endurance Championship circus in the upcoming season, which is pretty great for all aspiring drivers out there.

For now, aspiring drivers can also do this in their spare time.

Have a watch and assault those ears with some dune buggy engine whine.
