Daniel M. Romero is a Ph.D candidate at Cornell University in the Center for Applied Mathematics. His main research interest is the theoretical and empirical study of information and social networks. He has conducted research related to the formation of Twitter's follower network, the identification of influential social media sources, and the formation and spread of grassroots political parties among others topics.
