iPhone 4S and iPad 2 iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak imminent
Owners of the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 running iOS 5.0.1 on their devices will soon be able to join the jailbreak party. The iPhone hacker, Pod2G who successfully created an untethered jailbreak for older iPhones and the iPad 1 running iOS 5.0.1, is responsible for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 hack.
According to a Pod2G tweet, the untethered jailbreak is due later next week.
Pod2G is confident that any iPad 2 and iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0.1 can be jailbroken and even advises users to upgrade to the latest OS.
