Here’s the thing about James Bond; no matter what directors do, fans of the franchise will still rush out to see it.

Skyfall is Daniel Craig’s third appearance as 007 and, judging by the first official teaser trailer for the film, he’s going to be as gritty and weathered-looking as he was in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

It also doesn’t look like fans of the franchise are likely to get clever one-liners or the implausible gadgets that some so fervently love. On the other hand, there will be beautiful women and lot’s of explosion-filled action sequences, so there’s always that to look forward to.
