Watch vertigo-inducing footage of Felix Baumgartner’s space jump

Watching Felix Baumgartner’s space jump from the cameras on the ground was spectacular. Terrifying, but spectacular. Now footage has emerged showing the fall from the Austrian’s helmet cam.

The visuals give you some sense of what Baumgartner must have been experienced during his free fall. Although things are moving pretty quickly, you also get a glimpse of what he saw, from the darkness of space to the shape of the earth.

A word to the wise if you suffer from vertigo though: as well as the rapid falling, the video contains some crazy spinning. Brace yourself before you press play.
