Fancy going to the 2014 FIFA World Cup? Facebook can get you there
This seems pretty cool. It’s an opportunity to win tickets to next year’s FIFA World Cup in Brazil, without having to go anywhere but the Facebook tab you inevitably have open on your browser right now.
The competition, which takes the form of a virtual race running parallel to Continental Tyre’s annual #Run2Stop challenge, means that you could be joining pro athletes like Vanessa Haywood, Pierre Spies, Nick Bester and Gcobani Bobo in Brazil for football’s biggest festival.
In order to enter the competition, you’ll need to develop a unique team name, send three of your friends an invitation to join your team and keep your eyes on the Facebook page. Four questions will be randomly posted each day between 4 and 8 November and the correct answers will be awarded points that could find your team in the lead.
The questions are reportedly meant to test mental agility, so you probably shouldn’t pick the friend who’s always dragging you out for wild benders at the most inopportune times.
